This program started in 1996 under the able guidance of Bro. Emmanuel P.J., Principal, in the form of Living-in-session” Agony & Ecstacy of 50 years of Indian Independence”. It took the shape of Lokotsav in 1997 and we were associated with the Department of Culture, U.P. from 1997 till now, and in 1998 it was known as Natyotsav. The final name MICFEST came into existence in 1999 till date.
The vision and prime objective of the festival is the ‘Child‘and through ‘MICFEST’ we aim to bring out the innate & limitless abilities of the students.
The purposes of organizing the two-day mega-festival are to develop communication skills, re-create an awareness of our rich traditions and cultivate cultural interests that affect emotions, work performance, and relationships in one’s day-to-day life.
Its events like Choreography, Commercial Innovation, Scientific experimenting, Mathematical Modeling, Videography, Painting, Music, etc. provides participants an opportunity to give full vent to their innovativeness, and creative thinking. They are highly appreciated and thoroughly enjoyed by the participants, audience, and media as well. It is the most awaited event not only in Lucknow city but other places of U.P, M.P., and Delhi also.
The theme of the festival this year was “TRIUMPH OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT”. The destiny of our nation is being shaped on our campus. It is our concerted effort to develop a logical, analytical, scientific, and balanced approach in the students toward present-day global issues and more specifically towards life so that they can lead our nation toward the higher destination of prosperity and happiness.
